entirely alone; in fact, sweet Penny was actually VERY pregnant, and soon after coming to Operation Git-Meow, gave birth to a whopping total of 6 kittens. Since Penny's rescue, she has done an absolutely amazing job raising all of the babies, and even took in 2 other slightly older abandoned stray kittens Robert and Bindi as well during her time! (Who have since been adopted out.) But unfortunately, things took a turn for the worse when two of Penny's kittens – Polly Pocket and Beanie Babie – fell gravely ill.
They became severely lethargic and unresponsive; neither had much of an appetite, and what little they did eat, they couldn't hold down. Rescuers rushed them to the Emergency Hospital, where both kittens got fluids, IV medication, oxygen, and around the clock care.
As of now, Polly Pocket is finally back home after a LONG weekend – but her sister, Beanie Baby is still at the hospital. Her vitals are stronger than they originally were, but Beanie Baby is still not eating on her own. She will remain in the care of her doctors at the ER, which is something very different for sweet Polly Pocket.
Since coming into this world, these sisters have been each other's shadows – rarely leaving the other's side. If you can, please consider sending a much needed monetary, or wishlist donation towards their life-saving care. Their road to recovery will be long, but rescuers are determined to show them just how great the kitten-life can be. Thank you so much.

Somehow, this precious Mama found herself abandoned in West Virginia just as the pandemic got serious. But she wasn't entirely alone; in fact, sweet Penny was actually VERY pregnant, and soon after coming to Operation Git-Meow, gave birth to a whopping total of 6 kittens.
