Larry was found in a backyard covered in bite wounds, fleas and ticks, too weak from blood loss to stand. He's emaciated, covered in sores and barely able to bare weight on his hind leg. He was taken in for a follow up at the vet because  he's still not bearing weight on his back right leg. He has tissue damage all over his body, but x-rays revealed his back left accessory bone is broken and the right one was punctured so badly that the bone is damaged and now infected. What that means is that someone beat the crap out of this dog so badly that both his back legs are broken and the tissue damage is furthering the infection. He will lose it if we can't clear up the infection. That is not even all. Because he was covered in ticks, he has horrible hookworms and no one in rescue will be surprised to learn he started coughing two days ago. The veterinarian who saw him was shook by his wounds and condition we will do whatever we can to heal this poor boy from the hell he has lived in all his life and with your help we will be successful.
