Jasper is currently eating wet food, gruel and kitten formula. He is resting comfortably and will be scheduled for a vet appointment. He will likely need surgery to have his bottom lip reattached to his gums, antibiotic, pain meds and follow-up appointments, plus neuter and vaccines when health cleared.
Please consider sending Jasper a healing gift from his wishlist or a monetary donation to help with his medical expenses.

An 8 week old kitten covered in diesel and thrown from a car was found at a Church out in the country in Remington, Indiana. The founders wife contacted Teresa at Loving Paws Animal Center, hoping they would be able to help the poor baby.
Thankfully, Teresa was able to make room to take in the precious little boy she named Jasper. Jasper is the name of the county he was rescued in. The founder was kind enough to keep the little kitten for two nights, bathe him to get the diesel off his fur, warm up his cold body and fill his belly with some gruel. They noticed his little nose and mouth seemed to be hurt, which raised some concern. Once Teresa picked him up and looked him over, it was clear Jasper had been thrown from a car. His nose is scuffed up and his bottom lip is slightly de-gloved. This typically happens to animals when they slide across the road. We can't imagine what his poor life was like before this horrific experience, but he will NEVER be failed by humans again.
